Is SignOnSite the right fit for what I'm after?

We want to make sure SignOnSite is going to suit your needs. That’s why we like to get to know you and what you’re hoping to achieve, first. We aren’t in the business of setting you up for failure.

What if there's a lot of people without a smartphone on site?

We understand not everyone on site is going to have a smartphone. We also know that given the industry, phones can experience some wear and tear quicker than others. That’s why the SignOnSite Kiosk is an option to you and your sites.

Is it tracking me?

So that you can sign onto your site, the only time the app will monitor your location is when you are near your site, typically around 250-300m away. Once you’ve signed on, your location isn’t monitored.

Will the app use up all my data?

The only time SignOnSite will use your data is when you download the app, sign on, sign off and when there’s an evacuation. You can check the data usage on your phone to get an idea of how much is used by the app.

Will it drain my battery?

SignOnSite uses a number of different location services to make sure the battery isn’t drained. We understand it’s important that your phone has charge throughout the day. This is why we continue to test battery usage on the app.

How does automatic sign on work?

On your first sign on to any site, you will need to sign on manually. Once you have completed the manual sign on, every time after it will happen automatically. It’s like presets on your radio. It’s to make it easier for you.
